Hi,

had cable covered by new carpet and it now only just reaches BT Modem Router. Is there anything that can be used as an extender, only need about half a metre..

I am assuming you are referring to the telephone cable. In which case I doubt that you will find anything less than 3 metres; which is very cheap.
