Youtube To Cd/dvd
4 Answers
I'm looking for a simple system to burn a YouTube video to a CD/DVD, with the emphasis on 'simple.'
I've done this before but seem to have lost the downloader.
I'm on Windows 7 with Firefox.
All suggestions appreciated.
Cheers.

Install this Firefox extension. (It's not just the result of a random bit of googling - it's what I use myself):
https:/ /addons .mozill a.org/e n-GB/fi refox/a ddon/ea sy-yout ube-vid eo-down load/
That adds a nice big 'Download As' button to your Youtube pages:
https:/ /addons .cdn.mo zilla.n et/user -media/ preview s/full/ 188/188 577.png ?modifi ed=1530 209073
Clicking on it brings up various options, with 'MP4 720p' (if available) usually being fine for most purposes. However (if the video was actually posted in HD) there will also be a 'Full-HD' option shown. That, like the MP3 options, only works if Firefox thinks that you've made a small donation towards the development of the browser. If you'd rather not do so though, simply clicking on this link will give Firefox the cookie that it looks for:

Once you've saved the video to your preferred location you can then use any suitable burning software to create your CD/DVD. This is a joy to use:
