does anyone here have their own ringtone on their iPhone, and if so which iPhone do you have?

by "own ringtone", I mean a downloaded track of your own choice from itunes

I've used my own ringtone on all of my iPhones. It's a bit of a phaff, though.

My OH certainly does, in fact he has different ringtones (downloaded songs) for different people. I think he currently has the iphone 6

Gawd, I don't do any of that. I just downloaded a ringtone app and followed the tutorial.

Dee, do you have iTunes on your computer?

I'm just going to make a ringtone and get it on the phone, then I'll let you know how I did it. Not done it for ages.

I just used this app

Create the tone on your phone using the app.
Hook phone up to itunes on computer
Click file sharing and drag the ringtone to your desktop
Open Tones. Drag the tone from desktop to here.
Click the tone and hit apply
Then sync
Hopefully the tone will be on your phone.

I should have given you a blow by blow as I did it, but instead relied on my miserable memory.
If it doesn't work, I'll do it again, but in real time.

gave it a go but no joy. I am hopeless with technology though, and need the most basic instructions possible!

I really don't know why Apple make it so difficult.
