Had a kodak easy share camera for christmas. Now I can't find the instructions
or the cable thing (I don't know what it's called) that joins it to a computer to put
the photo's on it. The relative who gave it to me is visiting next month. Where will I
get a replacement Anyone got any ideas please?

Getting the photos off is easy. Take out the memory card and use one of these:

Lots available from different sources.
I should have said - you m,ight even have a card reader built into your computer.
Amazon do it for about £4.50.

Bit of a minefield, tooj - Flonska's one seems to say it's the right one for the 'easyshare', so looks best.

If you look at the manual in the link provided by aog, I think you'll find it's the same cable that you use for charging the battery.
You don't need the cable to transfer images from the camera to a PC. Indeed, I'd prefer not to do it that way.

It's far simpler to remove the SD memory card from the camera and insert it into your computer's memory card reader. You can them move the image files in exactly the same way that you can move any other files around your computer. (i.e. by 'dragging & dropping' or 'cutting & pasting').

If your computer hasn't got an integral card reader you can use a USB one. (From around a fiver in PC World or just a couple of quid online).
^^^ As pointed out above though, even if you don't need a cable to transfer images, you'll probably it to charge the camera.

If you want to prove that you've been using the camera ever since you've got it, you'll probably also need some friends with tinsel in their hair, so that you can photograph them and pretend that you did so last December ;-)
