Emails Are Being Received, But Cannot Be Sent From Ipad

My ipad is receiving emails however when I try to send an email it says that the username or password for my email address is incorrect.
I have reentered my password. What could be wrong?

The symptoms you've described usually arise when the email client being used has lost the correct information about which server to direct outgoing mail to. The simplest way to fix the problem is usually to delete the email account and then create it again.

It should be very straightforward. The only problem I've ever heard of when people have done it is that, depending upon your email account settings, you might find that you get lots of old emails re-delivered to your iPad. However, importantly, you shouldn't actually lose anything though.
