My friend still has this adware on her laptop. Anyone know anything about it. It takes over your browser reverts to this Trovi page. Should she just take it to repair shop or is there a simple removal?

It can be removed with the adware-removal tools Malwarebytes Anti-Malware or AdwCleaner

you could also export browser favorites, uninstall browser run ccleaner
reboot, reinstall browser import your favorites you exported originally
done, or just do the above if all else fails.

Thank you fender62 think it's edge browser she uses but think also chrome. Will try things suggested and see how we get on.
