Auto-Correction Removal

When I type the name of an AB'er - Retrocop - in correspondence, my auto-correct turns it into 'Retrocopy' and I don't always spot it before submitting.

Is there a way of telling my computer not to pick this up as an error and correct it?

When typing a long answer it's a good idea to copy it in case something goes wrong when submitting.

andy-hughes probably changed his PC/OS/browser and ended up on that new browser during retrocop's suspension. So when retrocop returned, giving andy-hughes reason to start typing his name again, the problem showed up because the auto-correction of retrocop to retrocopy is built in to Microsoft Edge - I just checked. Figuring out this probable cause is hardly top detective work.

I imagine the thread was closed because of the direction it was taking even after the question, in Technology, had been fully, completely and correctly answered by jim360.

Ellipsis - You are absolutely correct - I terms of my change of PC, and the direction of the thread.

I now have my answer - my question has been vindicated, and hopefully everyone can move on.
