Simply download you MP3 files to your chosen location on your PC and then play them either in VLC (which is the best all-round media player by far) or, if you'd prefer a player specifically designed for audio files, and which offers the same type of file management that iTunes does, use the excellent MusicBee:

Thanks Chris. I used to like itunes but I lost a lot of my library (long story) and all I have at the moment is the music in the cloud which is what I had purchased. I did have all my CDs on there as well that I had recorded but my DVD drive isn`t working so I can`t replace them. I did buy a stand alone drive but haven`t tried connecting it yet. Someone at work was telling me about Spotify but it looks like you pay about £9 per month and only have that music as long as you keep subscribing so I don`t want that. I want something that I can purchase music from and also put my CDs on. I`ll look into musicbee
