Logging On

I am always on Explorer to go in and have a look at emails. However when I try they are asking me to create a new one - when I enter my own - they say - "there is a similar one". I tried here as well typed outlook.co.uk and it too tells me there is a similar one. How can I get into my old email address.

If you're being told that an address similar to the one you've typed already exists, you must have clicked on 'Register', rather than 'Log in'

Yes, easily done. There are some sites like Topcashback where the home page asks for user name and password- the boxes appear as great big boxes but are actually for registering not logging in . The log in button is a tiny button which takes you somewhere else. i fall for it often
