Google Will Not Respond

I have google in the start up screen and now for an unknown reason am unable to get it when I click on to it. Also from the desk top it does not work.
What has happened and how do I get it back?

Well, as you can get through to Answerbank, all the usual suspects are clean (Router gone down, internet likewise, etc).

Keep trying. It will come back, honest.

I think that some more information is needed here.

Firstly, please confirm that you're using a Windows PC or, if not, tell us what you're actually using. (It's not unknown for us to go round in circles providing answers which only apply to Windows when, say, the questioner is actually using an Android phone).

Next, which browser are you using, please? (Internet Explorer? Edge? Chrome? Firefox? SeaMonkey? Safari? Opera? Avant? Vivaldi? Something else?).

Then, when you click on this link, does the Google search page open as usual?

If so, can you search from that page? (If not, what happens when you try?)
