Lincolnshire Restaurants

Hi all, Ive been given the task of organising a xmas get together/ meal for for family and friends again. People coming from various parts of the country so trying to find somwhere that is fairly central to all. Lincoln area seems to be the place to aim for. We have used the thorold arms in harmston for the last few years but sadly this seems to have closed. Shame was a very good place. So, I'm looking for recommendations from anyone with local knowledge please. Would prefer a proper village pub rather than a plastic food chain pub if you know what iI mean.

Thanks for your replies. I had already looked at a few of those you suggest. However a decision has been made on the recommendation of a friend. We have booked a table at the five bells in bassingham.
