Hp Deskjet 1514 Paper Jam
15 Answers
Does anybody please know how to get into the above printer? A sheet of A4 has 'disappeared', and there's no trace, and printer will not print. When my friend's HP Envy 4520 got jammed I was able to open it up and retrieve the jammed paper, but I just can't see how to get into mine.
Tutorials online have been no help. I have several documents to scan, but nada...what a way to spend your birthday!

Note: the knowledge base states:- Paper jams can be real or false. The printer might report a paper jam even when there is no jammed paper.
Hope this is of some help?

I FIXED it! (Masses of fiddling) Not only that, but I've done the scanning I needed to do.
Doesn't make up for finding there was a small puddle of petrol underneath the car when I trundled my trolley back to my car at the supermarket today. Took it to my village garage who diagnosed a leak in the hose from the filler cap to the tank, and it was bad at the supermarket because I'd just put £20 of petrol in. And then they rang to say they can't find the hose anywhere. Oh my, what a truly carp birthday :(
