How To Synchronise Sound And Vision.

I have a movie where the soundtrack is about one and a half seconds behind the video. I use Media Player Classic for playback. How can I bring the sound and vision into line?

Not sure how to do it with WMP but you can do it with the free VLC - it has an advance/lag setting for audio/video.

In the Media Player,
Click on View > Options > Internal Filters > Audio Switcher.

Then in "Audio time shift (ms):" and check the box.

In the box adjust the shift time that you want and click on OK to validate.

Could a lack of resources do this ? Seems strange for the data file to be wrong. Have you tried other players ? Or even another PC ?
