Satellite Dish Problem
5 Answers
I am considering getting a Satellite Dish to get FREE View/Freesat and reduce my bills which i pay with one of the principle providers. My main concern is that we have a couple of big tress out on the road in front of the house and the satellite would have to face in the direction of the trees. Is it possible to overcome this problem by placing the satellite dish at an angle so that it would go over the trees. Any suggestions or advise would be welcome, i would love to cut down the trees overnight but then i would have the council after me!

Why not use an aerial and Freeview which will give you most of the same channels that Freesat does and no need for a dish.
I think the world is moving away from Satellite dishes. Sky have already said they will move from Satellite dishes to a broadband type server (ala Netflix) in the future.
Do you have Broadband and a decent broadband speed maybe you could move to a broadband based TV service?
