Printer Problem.
5 Answers
I have an Epson sx234W which up until now has been working fine. That said I haven't used it for about two weeks. Today I tried to print an A4 document but the first line had only the bottom half of the letters printed. The second line was ok then there was a large gap and the third line was fine but the fourth only had the top half of the letters printed, and so it went on to the end.
The document is not meant to have paragraphs, just one sentence a line. As I say it's been fine up to now. I tried printing it in open office and WordPad with the same result. The inks are only three or four weeks old. Is it fixable or time for a new printer?
I hope I've explained the problem properly.

Most of these can be done by, eg, going to Control Panel/Printers, selecting the relevant printer, and hopefully there it will say what options there are to check how the printer is doing and what you can do about it.
First guess is to check if the nozzles need cleaning -- I think this will be possible to check without too much difficulty by following the on-screen instructions from the above point, but if you are still not able to sort it out then I can do some more detailed research.
