Does Anyone Know What This Is About

received an e mail from Google as follows
your personal Google+ is going away on April 2nd.
You have received this e mail because you have a consumer (personal)
Google + account or you manage a Google+ Page.

Does this mean it will wipe out all my e mails, as i have a
G mail account and will i have to find a new e mail address.
has anyone else received one of these long messages.

It’s not a scam. It won’t affect emails. Very easily googled (ironically)

It is just warning people who use or have used Google+ to download any photos/videos/files from their Google+ accounts before it is closed in April.

I too have this email! I downloaded the data files that I wanted to keep (in zip format) that I had emailed to me and then stored them onto an external drive. You don't need to save everything,that will create a massive sized file-the're simply data files in zip format that can be opened whenever! At least I hope!

I got one too and deleted it as I don't use or know Google+.
