Thanks CAT, tried that but it shows just two ticked boxes; ' Menu Bar' and Bookmarks Tool Bar.' No option for anything else.
Click on the gear icon at top-right
Under Firefox Home Content, check "Top Sites"

TC. Hello, anyone there ?
Apologies for delay in getting back to you
This is a smart bookmarks (places query).

https://developer.mozilla.org/Mozilla/Tech/Places/Places_query_URIs

You can create a new bookmark and set name and location (maxResults sets the number of results).

Name: Most Visited
Location: place:sort=8&maxResults=10

Close and restart Firefox to make this bookmark work as a smart folder and give it its special icon.

Thanks, CAC. You've baffled me with science there but I'll work on it.

Cheers.
