Epson Printer

I have just replaced with ink cartridges and the print is not good - I am finally getting to around to getting like a new printer. Anybody advice.
I do not want scanners, photocopiers, just the very basic printer to print some letters per se. Thanks

I swapped to a colour laser printer many years ago.
More expensive to buy, much cheaper to run.
No problems with nozzle clogging, print head alignment etc. etc.
Much better for occasional printing as there is no ink to dry up and clog.
I bought a Fuji Xerox, happy as a pig in it!

Yes Bhg, bought a Brother, black only, laser printer for my daughter many many years ago. It was passed through 3 other siblings, printed lord knows how many pages.
It's on its third toner cartridge, nearly full, and wrapped in plastic, stored in my garage.
Even though I'll never use it I can't bring myself to get rid of it, brilliant machine. (Steptoe and Son ;-)
With the cost comparison between inkjet and laser printing plus the ease and reliability I can't fathom why inkjet is still popular.
