Mrs B will be in Ireland for a day or two.

Our mobiles are SIM only, pay-as-you-go.

Can she text/call me from Ireland (and me-her) just by putting 44 in, or do we have to use some other code?

Ta.

Sorry to disturb the equilibrium, but could you expand on that a little?
You shouldn't even need to put 44 in, just dial as usual.
I dial from my contacts.
You to her: no change

Her to you: if your number is already in her phone contacts as +447something then no change; if your number is in her phone contacts as 07something then she may need to change it to +447something. Maybe not in Ireland, I'm not sure.
You only need to put a country code in if the number you are calling "lives" in another country (not just visiting) - Mrs B's mobile "lives" in the UK so doesn't need a country code so long as the phone calling it "lives" in the UK, as yours does.

To all those who have helped: thanks very much.

To the other one: keep banging the rocks together.
