Chromebook Is Slow. How To Speed It Up ?

chromebook very very slow, its only 3 mths old .
also notice my sony smart tv i have kodi but no movies are able to stream .
internet provider is virgin and they say im on 50MB
broadband speed checker - download 55.29 upload 4.98 mbs

so why this slowdown

Just because data can move freely from Virgin's server to your router doesn't mean that it will automatically move so freely over your wifi.

Try disconnecting the power from your router, waiting for a minute and then reconnecting it. If that doesn't help, try changing the wifi channel. (If you require instructions, we'll need the make and model of your router).
