Error message

Unfortunately Google has stopped.

How do I fix this problem, this error message will not let me go to any screens, so can't go to settings etc..I've turned off/on, rebooted, but can't get to anything else.

Getting to the point, where, throwing it at the wall, will make me feel better

Have you run out of resources, such as memory ?
Most warnings can be dismissed. Strange.

Not a memory issue, I only use it for calls, but I can't open any screens, to look at anything...

Solved

Hard factory reset, by using volume/power button, toggled through menu, wiped clean, re-installed. Job done.

Go to settings
Select Applications
Select Applications Manager
Scroll to find Google App (if you don't see it in the list, tap the 3 verticle dots on the top right corner of the screen and then select show system apps)
Select Google App
Select Uninstall Updates
When uninstall is complete, reboot phone

Reinstallation is always a good last resort.
