These two just invite trouble. Best policy, especially as a Royal, is to rise above such things. Taking a case against a newspaper will always end in tears - even if you win.

don't know anything about this, but seems open house for the papers on Harry and Meghan.

I am in agreement with YMB on this.

As one of the most photographed and followed couples in the world, their Highnesses should surely be advised, or even realise for themselves, since it is only common sense, that distorting images, quotes, situations, reasons, statements, etc. etc. is what the media do, and have done for decades, because it arouses interest and sells papers / increases net traffic.

In instances like this, it is better simply to ignore it, and move on, as the vast majority of the rest of the world does - and save energy, and money, and time, by picking fights that you are likely to win.

No only likely to win, but fights that really do genuinely justify the time and expense involved, to say nothing of the negative fallout and accusations of being thin-skinned and frivolous, that follow losses like this one.
You would have thought that they’d be informed to ignore slander as its pretty common to make a fuss over it aint it?
The more fuss they make, the more attention they attract.
yes I am reminded of the monty python image of Greta Garbo well OK it was a man dressed up as she
on the back of a lorry with a megaphone
vye dont you leef me alooooone! vye dont you leef me alooooone!
Rather like Madonna leaving a Leeds hotel at 6.a.m. to go 'jogging' accompanied by six large minders in suits with sunglasses and radios, and then she spent the day bitching about how she can never get any privacy, and the paps never leave her alone!!!
"Taking a case against a newspaper will always end in tears - even if you win. Not sure about that. It worked for Elton John.

More than once!

But Elton is not the royal family - when the press got bitten back, they backed off, that will never ever happen with the royals.

Indeed!
Good news. I don't expect they'll learn from it though.
I really do hope they learn from it, woof. It's not like people taking long-shots of Kate sunbathing topless...… and she and William have risen above it. The Royal motto works in the end.. 'Never explain, never complain'. Heading for a fall this way Harry, please stop.

I think Harry sees his future as being without the constraints of the Royals' systems, which it will be, but it will also be without their considerable experience and valuable advice.

One piece of advice they may have already given him, and being ignored is -

Wanting to protect your wife is admirable, but learn to pick your battles, and stick to the ones you can win.

Hint - that excludes any and all battles with the media.
I'd not heard of this case until now. Did the Mail On Sunday really run a story about Harry's Instagram account, saying that the images of a rhino, lion and elephant don't quite tell the full story?

I wonder what the full story of why the Mail On Sunday ran that story is ...
How many court cases have they got going? We have the Megan's to come over the publication of part of her letter to her dad. Why of why don't they take guidance from the queen? Never complain, never explain. Foolish people.
If he's lost his case he should go to lost property.

For the record, so am I. Harry showed such incredible naivety on this, I fear for his future.
