Phone Monitoring
35 Answers
Hi all,
Does anyone know if there is a way to monitor a mobile without having access to the phone itself.
I want to see what my son is getting up to.
Now, I know there is software such as SPYFONE available but I would need access to the phone. Also, I have read the reviews and it does not make good reading.
Some of the reviews give the email addresses of hackers that can allegedly do it remotely.
Has anyone had any experience of this.

I don't approve of monitoring calls/texts without explicit permission - but if you are paying the bills and your son is under 18, then I think it perfectly reasonable to insist that the iPhone is included in your Family Group of devices.
You can then monitor its location via the FindMy app that is a standard part of all iPhones - unless your son deliberately disables the App - which might tell you something interesting anyway.

That sounds reasonable - at least it includes the young man in knowing that monitoring is going on - which is a far cry from the implicit desire to spy on him that is carried in the wording of the OP.
