Got Mr BD a second hand laptop from AC Computer Warehouse (on your recommendation) just before Christmas as he had manage to spill a full glass of Ricard and lemonade over the last one and it was kaput. He only uses it for banking, emails, facebook and checking on his rugby team so not worth paying out a lot in case he did it again. Only needed something basic. All was well until a few days ago when he had a bit of a problem with it. Took it back, left it with them overnight and picked it up next day fully fixed, no charge as still under guarantee. What a nice couple of chaps they were and very helpful. Silly us never thought to take the other one with us so to see if it could be saved but we can do that another time when all this panic is over. Thanks for the advice Chris. Very happy with them.

As I live the other side of the country, I've never actually met the guys who work there but they've always been amazingly helpful whenever I've phoned them. Lots of other AB members have followed my recommendations to buy from there and everyone seems to be very happy with both their products and service.

If only PC World could be so good ;-)

They have a unit in an old mill and the first thing you see as you walk in is a big old sofa with a dog lying on it. The dog is very friendly and it all makes for a very relaxed atmosphere. Very helpful and no hard sell.
