Power Tools And Loud Music In Lockdown

I know we are all having to adjust being under house arrest to stay safe. But my neighbour oh my gosh!.
Loud cheesy country and western music and his small back garden has turned into grand designs building plot. Plus 3 kids screaming in the garden until 11pm most nights and burning rubbish. I put a polite note through the door asking them to be a little more considerate by it appears to of fallen on deaf ears. Anybody else having noisy neighbour issues?

Thankfully, no. But I have in the past. If the note didn’t work try knocking on their door or popping your head over the fence to ask them to keep it down a bit. Are they generally decent people?

I'lll probably get shot down for this but....
I live in a high rise. Noise cant be helped. But the guy who lives below me was really getting on my nerves with music playing at the weekend until the early hours. The 'polite' approach didnt work.
After yet ANOTHER night of blaring music I got out of bed, got dressed, knocked on his door and threatened to beat the carp out of him if it carried on. Did the trick!
Yes I know that violence isnt the answer but try going without sleep for a weekend.

We’re much more aware of our neighbours but have to accept they’re as entitled to live their lives as we are ours.

In my own case, we are both built like brick **** houses.

Grrr. People are allowed to live their lives but they should also think about others. I play the music I like but I don’t play it so loud that I drive my neighbour mad.

If someone threatened me with physical violence. I would choose my time and place and have him.
But, then again I do not play loud music, and I am considerate of my neighbours.

When I had problems with disco playing into early hours in adjacent garden called local council they sent out noise abatement officers with sound meter and got it sorted.

In that case, my apologies dave,
Nothing more annoying than shed-head neighbors being p rcks at all god forsaken hours of the night.
Never mind the (inept) council vowing to do something.
Tell the perpatrator what YOU are going to do if it continues.
Works for me at least.

I didn't need to say anything. The Police were out yesterday at 9pm in the back street. I saw them talking to power tool crazy neighbour over the fence all quiet tonight yaaaay
