Ipad Email Download Freezing My Aol

Usually open my monthly charity newsletter on my laptop but absent-mindedly opened it
on aol on my ipaf. Now my aol shows continuous "loading" and I cant access my aol emails.
Nothing I can do to cancel or get back despite the "cancel" button top left which is greyed out.
Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you

Have you tried restarting the iPad (using a 'forced restart' if necessary)?
