Hi there, could somebody clear up what exactly an ADSL router is, I thought this was for dial-up only, and you get a high speed router for Broadband?

ADSL is a type of broadband so and ADSL router is a broadband or high-speed router - same thing, different name.
routers are very rarely used for dial-up... dial-up users get such a small amound of bandwidth to start with, that it wouldn't be worth them splitting up their connection.
