Keep getting a message saying a web page is slowing your browser down, stop it or wait. Have googled it but i'm not very tech savvy! It says something about clearing cache and cookies, is there a simple easy to follow fix for this problem? TIA

Giving your machine a good clear out will always help with a little increase in speed. If you want specific advice you need to tell us which browser you use. One of the main reasons for a slow machine is a hard disk thats nearly full.
It could be a badly done webpage - perhaps heavy on scripts.

It may also be that your browser is old - if you can run the most up to date version.

I'm running Firefox if that's any help.
Clearing a browser's cache is a bit like checking the oil in a car's engine. It's a task that ought to be carried out periodically but the vast majority of people never bother with until something goes wrong.
