Saturday. I've just put a load of washing on the line, and fed some hedgehogs while I was at it. :o} Quite pleasant outside.
Yesterday afternoon I was sitting out in the sun reading, something caught my eye, I looked down to the right, stood by my chair was a lovely rat! Obviously someone's pet that has done a runner as it wasn't at all afraid and looked very smart. I put a dish of water down and it drank thirstily. It settled down for a while then looked up at me as if to say 'Ta squire', and wandered off! I hope it found it's way home OK.
Nothing on the chart for today, so it looks like another day in the sun. A hard life innit! :o}
Have a happy day everyone.

having once been plagued with mice running around the flat i wouldn't like it to happen again, awful mess they make. and the damned noise, they had to go..

Morning emmie xxx This one was obviously a pet, it was in very good condition and not at all afraid. One of Vera's sons used to keep rats as pets. They are very intelligent creatures. That's how I knew it wasn't a wild one, it was too well looked after.
