Sound Icon Has Disappeared

I have Windows 10. The sound icon has gone from the task bar. In Settings it is apparently 'on'. How can I get it back? Is it something to do with the drivers? I would be grateful for any help.

Hi: I turned it off and on again and...…… it's back!
