Hi techie Abers .... Mr. Chox is doing very well with his new-found Excel skills and he's very pleased with his work so far. Just wondering though - could someone please tell us how to insert extra lines in a spreadsheet, please - just a very simple way of doing it for tech-thickies like us two... many thanks, cheers, Chox.
By "lines" do you mean "rows"? A spreadsheet typically consists of a grid of cells arranged in vertical columns and horizontal rows - is that what you mean?
Good point, PP. Yes, when I insert a row I have to copy and past the formulae from the row above- another right click copy and paste job, and then also review the formula for the row below
there are some very good training videos on youtube for excel. Not that I'm saying no to ask on here, you alasy get the right help, but I find the visual really useful. Just search for excel tutorials, if you know whch version of excel you are using add that to the search to help you get results more suited to you.
