Lap Top Tray Won't Load

My laptop tray won't load it's icons (browsers etc) Desktop icons showing but not 'clickable' so can't access internet etc.
Any idea what to do or is my lappy 'nackerd

Scrub that. It's eventually loaded but taken ages. Maybe needs a clean??

Seems ok now. Just took an age to load for some reason

Shut your laptop down, wait for a few minutes and restart it. If you experience the same problem again, I'll try to suggest a solution. If not, then it was probably 'just one of those things'. (Windows can seem to 'hang' during the loading process if, for example, your anti-virus software is updating itself).

Cheers Chris. It seems ok now, just a little slow loading more than one website at a time. Usually got half a dozen open at same time)

That's a classic symptom of high CPU useage, which probably means that there was another process running (such as your antivirus software, or even Windows itself, being updated).
