Is it through a web page in your browser (such as Edge, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari or Firefox) and, if so, on what type of device. (Windows PC/laptop? Chromebook? Android device? iPad/iPhone?).
Or are you trying to use a dedicated email app? (If so, which one and on which device, please?)

Buenocheeky I have tried from my android phone and my windows 10 tablet but all I get is a message from sky saying "we have encountered a problem with your account, please phone this number"
It is not a scam and is not a premium number and have tried to log in from sky but it still keeps saying the same

Are you an existing Sky customer, Bob? (You could have been locked out of your account if you're no longer signed up to Sky):

Sky is known to close down email accounts if they've not been accessed for a while:

Perhaps they're also getting stricter about letting people hang on to them indefinitely anyway? (Or perhaps they just want to use the opportunity to try to get you to rejoin Sky?)
As you're seeing the same mesaage on two independent devices, the problem definitely seems to be 'at their end' so, unless you can get any assistance through phoning Sky (which might be very tricky, easpecially for a non-customer, at the present time), you're going to be out of luck, I'm afraid!

We moved from TalkTalk because they were going to charge £5 per month for their email if you did not have a TV and Broadband with them. Both Virgin and Sky said at the same time that if you left them then your email facility ceased at once. We've gone with gmx mail Chris's suggestion and are very happy with it. So easy to use and you can get emails transferred from other providers quite easily until you can amend all your details,
^^^ Worth a try then, obviously!
