Which is the better buy,the Panasonic FZ 5, or the Sony Cyber shot H1.They are about the same price.

I've got the sony one, and it is by far the best digi camers i've ever had. You really can't go wrong with it.

They're both cracking good cameras with very similar specifications. The only real difference is in physical size: the Sony is much bulkier. You can see the cameras lined up alongside each other here:
