Internet Connected Camera.

We have an elderly relative who is housebound at the minute. She has carers visiting at various times thru the day but as we and other relatives live over 20 miles away we are thinking over installed an internet connected camera in her room so we can look in on her.
She have a router in the room in which she spends most of the day but no computer. So a wifi connected camera would be ideal and view footage of camera via app on phone - anyone any experience with this sort of tech?

Do you want to just look in or do you want to communicate? What does she think about this?

Gness and I have got half a dozen of these cameras between us - reasonably easy to set up (needs a wifi network) and you can view the output from the camera on your phone (as well as it being recorded to the card).

Why would you need a memory card? None of my cameras use them

What you need to remember is to set ot up so that only you can see it if connecting over the internet.
