The Real Latest Drawing

Atheist picked up on the date of the drawing that I posed - and it was only then I realised that Imgur had picked up an old drawing, one of a café/PO/gen store in Ardingly, near Wantage, a village where the main house owner built the village in the same vernacular style.
Sorry....
Here is the one that I have completed and as I said on the last posting 'a commission for someone who is leaving for Oz....the cottage is actually rendered in smooth grey plaster and faces east - however I think it would be too 'oppressive' to shade in all the right-facing exterior. Interestingly so, a mount around it this morning, even a grubby old one at this time, positioned the drawing much better and led the eye in.....my suggestion, a little tongue in cheek, will be to take the grey through the mount - with an under-mount too.....'

I exaggerated the hint of stone-work there to give texture but, in reality, it's there but the (grey-blue) rendering masked it to some extent. One tip though, never put in what you can't see...... This grey-blue render was all-pervasive and gave no features to the main front, hence my comments above about shading would have killed the drawing and the possible mounting makes up for it and will draw the eye into it!
