Wireless Printer Query - Help Please

I have a Canon MG4250 printer which has been successfully printing wirelessly from my iPad but not from my IPhone. Suddenly, inexplicably, the roles have reversed and I can now print from my iPhone but not my iPad.

My iPad recognises my printer and my printer is definitely connected to my WiFi but, when I try to print, a message appears on my iPad saying my printer is offline.

I have tried everything I can think of to reset my printer and iPad but nothing works.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and knows how to resolve it?

Can't help but I'm having similar issues with an Epson, I'll be watching.

If your printer is AirPrint-enabled for printing from your Mac or iOS device, make sure it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the Mac or iOS device. If you still can't print, try these solutions: Restart your Wi-Fi router. ... Update your printer and Wi-Fi router with the latest firmware from the manufacturer.

Thank you Ritajams. They are definitely connected to the same network and I have reset my router and printer several times. My iPad recognises the printer ok but the printer appears as offline when it clearly isn’t. However, I have no problem printing from my iPhone which is on the same network which I couldn’t do previously. It’s a mystery.
