can happen as a result of a windows upgrade...
to resolve (it sounds drastic but it isn't)
microsoft windows key right click, if your cursor is not moving, move by your arrow keys up to device manager and right click. Move onto mice and other devices, enter that, you should see your mouse type, right click on that and uninstall.....YES. Your cursor won't work now.....
Then crash the computer, mine is by holding the off/on button down. Turn the pc back on and the mouse will reload and hopefully the problem is alleviated.
