I have a phillips dvd recorder. Yes you do have to erase each session if you want to record over it. Great machines.
I have a DVD recorder by the wonderful new South Korean company..LG.......it's a bloomin' marvel......Unlike VHS recorders which have to be rewound to the place you want to record from...this machine of mine automatically records from the next empty part of the Disc or HD unless I just want to start anew when I have to erase what is on the drive..........guess this more or less says what rarII said.........;-)
commoner can you tell me which LG dvd recorder you have I am about to purchase one and trying to decide which. I have certainly been pleased with my LG monitor - thanks
sorry angelfish....didn't see your post..I bought the.Lg rh 7500 recorder with 80gb hard drive....I paid 230 at comet....just love it............commoner
