I have an old (but much-loved) laptop running Vista and it downloaded with no problems, unlike other browsers I've tried to like Firefox. It's working well, and I like the fact that all the favourites tabs along the top are visible all the time, not just when you click for a new tab. Might be my imagination, but everything seems faster.
Still fiddling about trying to make Google the opening page....

Thanks, Brainiac.
To make Google your start page, copy this link:
https:/ /www.go ogle.co .uk
Then click on the cog wheel, followed by Settings and Appearance. Under Home Page, right-click in the box where you can enter your chosen page and select Paste. Make sure that the button to the left of it is showing in blue. (If it's not, simply click on it). Job done.
