Deleting Contacts From Whatsapp

Can someone advise me please? If you delete a contact from WhatsApp is the contact aware of it, is the conversation thread still visible to them on their phone - and if they send another message what happens to it? Will it be undeliverable and returned to them?

I didn’t realise when I deleted the contact in WhatsApp that they would also disappear from my phone contact list - along with all the ordinary text messages between them and me … not that it matters. It just surprised me…. but then I’m not the best with technology. Many thanks.

They will be able to see the conversation they were involved in, but nothing after they are removed.

If you delete a contact from your WhatsApp, the person still can contact you and send you a message. The person will just not able to see your profile picture and status. Similarly, the contact deleted from WhatsApp will automatically be deleted from your contact list too.
