Pc Failing To Incorporate Updates.

I have a LENOVO IdeaPad S145, which has failed to accept a recent update. It leaves the PC in a state of limbo, and it`s the devil`s own job getting the PC back on track, only to be told in the end that the update has not been installed. Before going into further details, does anyone recognise this scenario and could possibly help?

Scroll down to 'Click one of the recovery options below and follow the steps to try to get things working again'.

Try these in order:
1. 'Remove an installed Windows update' ;
2. 'Restore from a system restore point' ;
3. 'Reset your PC'.

One of them should work!
