I had a lot of calls purporting to be Virgin media, regarding a router problem. They were persistent and I decided better contact virgin just in case.

Couldn.t get through on the phone so used the online help to message them

Today I had a message back which basically said

We tried to telephone you to resolve your complaint but you declined to answer.






Hardly surprising is it you morons

It's impossible to get hold of anyone quickly these days, it's so frustrating and all you can do is keep on trying. Nightmare!

it is built intothe scam system - why isnt it your neighbour ringing in a spoof to warn you about the end of the world unless you pay ....

because you can check

and you cant check Virgin they are too big
(isnt there a phrase for this? co now so big they inevitably from size lose the personal service touch? - gomboola effect or something)
and scammers can exploit this

The point it I am bothered by telephone scammers saying they are virgin, and virgin phone saying they are virgin so I assume they are just another scam call.

I had a very similar letter from them in response to my written complaint telling them the new SIM they sent me rendered my mobile unserviceable. Obviously the same morons ;-)
