Firefox translator

I have recently installed firefox and I have a very annoying translator that displays a spanish translation for every word that i hover the cursor over!. Does anybody know how I can disable this feature? I have tried the extension manager and it doesn't appear in the list

You've already tried Tools > Extensions
from the top menu
to see if there's a plugin installed that you can remove?

Failing that, how about
Tools > Options > Advanced > General > "Edit Languages"

As a last resort I suppose you could uninstall and reinstall your browser : if you do this then make sure that you delete all the Program Files and 'Documents and Settings' folders that go with Firefox but then you'll lose bookmarks etc.
