Been having trouble with my newly installed Sky Q and mini box losing internet signal it’s a problem a lot of Sky customers have .Repeatedly having to input router password. I assume connecting router to Q box is the answer. There at a few to choose. Cat 5 to Cat 8 what would be the best for me. The box and router are only 3 ft apart but separated by a wall.

Cat6 is more than good enough, supporting Gigabit speeds up to 100 metres. Most off-the-shelf leads will be Cat 6 anyway.
