why won't it work

why when i copied web pages to my flash drive which contain java applets, they do not work when i plug my flash drive into my computer at work. is there some thing i need to download for this to work ??

any info would be cool !

you would need the java runtime environment (JRE), perhaps your work computer doesn't have it installed?
