I have emailed the powers that be but apart from an acknowledgement about a week ago, no help is forthcoming. Very often when I click on a post, i can read a few replies and then the rest of the page is white. Other times when I scroll back up to go on another topic, the upper page is white. Sometimes refreshing a page helps but otherwise I have to go out the AB and then log in again and it happens so often it is frustrating. Another thing is having been on the AB and gone back on later, the site is just frozen or I can get a complete white page with the circle in the middle going round and round for ever. Can anyone tell me what is going on and how I can resolve it (not in too technical a fashion!) Thanks.

Are you by any chance using Internet Explorer? If so, change to another browser.
Are you using PC or mobile device? For the latter, I would suggest removing the link and then re-adding. Perhaps the same for a PC. Clear cache and try starting from the beginning.
Am not sure its the AB site despite all the cookies thats the cause- sounds more like your internet or overloaded device. Tried clearing your browser cashe?
It's clearly a problem with your web browser. So the first thing to is to clear its cache. (If you need instructions, please tell us which browser you're using). If that doesn't work, resetting your browser to its 'out of the box' state should fix the problem. (Again, instructions available upon request).

Alternatively, of course, you could just use a different browser.
I'm pretty sure that may be a fault with your device, otherwise other users would have had the same complaint.
I still use internet explorer. It’s fine.

I'm on PC and using Internet Explorer. When you say clear its cache, do you mean the other web sites I have open and stored along the top? If not, I'll ask my husband for his help with your suggestions.
no its clearing the history & some of the memory . Look for the settings option, usually click on the 3 verticle dots near the top right. Select settings then look for a option to clear cashe
Internet Explorer is no longer supported by many websites. You really ought to be using a more modern browser.

However if you're going to stick with IE for the moment, press Ctrl, Shift and Del all at the same time. That should open a pop-up window showing 'Delete browsing history'.

Click to remove all of the check marks in the boxes except the one alongside 'Temporary Internet files and website files'.

Click 'Delete'

First of all, apologies - we switched to Firefox some time ago! Had to get hubby involved and he cleared the cache so I'll see if things are better now. Thanks to everyone who responded - you are a great bunch.
