Problem With G Mail. Help Please
9 Answers
I have no problems at all on my android tablet or phone but suddenly on my PC there appears often a message in my G Mail saying oops there is a problem with 2003 or similar and I cannot read the mail or All Mail unless I go out of G Mail completely and go in again and then it is OK!
I was told to go into settings and updates but there are none. Have looked for later versions online but only shows Android. Is there any putting I can do as it worked perfectly for last 3 years. You cannot download it normally can you? I have latest version of Chrome which I use having moved from Edge as my default browser some time ago.
I have tried everything.
Thanks
Moggie

I have gone into settings and cleared the cache as you said but not the password part as I have lots of sites which have passwords saved for ease of access.
All the others I have cleared. I will see what happens in GMail over the next few days and come back if no change. Just one other thing......
Although I am in Chrome Browser as my default when I click to open it, it comes up as Bing for searches. I like Bing anyway but would this cause the problem?
Thanks again

Thanks for your reply.
Having Bing as your default search engine in Chrome won't be the cause of any problems you've got with Gmail.
You can change your default search engine at any time:

Hello Buenchico
Have tried everything you advised but no difference - I have to go out of G Mail a few time and back before it is stable then it happens again next time I get an email!
Before I used Chrome as browser (I have latest download) it was ok and I have tried Edge but that is the same.
One thing to mention is that it was ok before an automatic download of the new Win 10 2020 update happened which I pausedfor a month but then it happened anyway!
Thanks
