Lasting Power Of Attorney
My husband and I took out Lasting Powers of Attorney a couple of years ago, for Property and Financial Affairs, which was registered at the time with the Office of Public Guardian, both granting LPA to each other. We were both in good health at the time. My husband possibly will now go into a care home, temporarily in the first instance. If I think he is not able to manage his affairs later, how do I activate the LPA? Especially if he refuses to admit it? Would appreciate some informal advice.
