For some reason, my email sign in now says my password is invalid. I click "Forgotten password", then I get a notification to change it, which I did, but when i try to sign in with my new password it says it's invalid, so I have to go through the whole thing again to access my email. This is a pain in the armpit. Can anyone help please?
Further to this, I now get a message on my phone saying
"Credentials Needed". That says my password is invalid too. At this rate, I will keep having to change my password every time I want to access my email, then prove I'm not a robot.
I don't know where to begin with that! Don't you think that your email provider might be the best people to answer this question? Or are you expecting Buenchico to google something?
I've tried contacting my email provider but there is no email address, just a phone number in the USA and the FAQ's, none of which address the issue. And now I keep getting a message on my phone from them every ten minutes saying "Correct credentials needed". I've tried that with my changed password, and it says the password is incorrect. Have I been been hacked?
I can use my email if I keep changing my password every time I sign in. This is really frustrating. Unless I phone the USA, it looks like there is no obvious answer.
I have a Yahoo email address. Had it for years. Never had a problem. When I go to the Yahoo help page, there are lots of FAQ's and a phone number in the USA. No email address to ask for help.
I think this is a problem of my own making as I think I entered my password with Caps Lock on and didn't realise it. I'm now stuck in a spiral of various security checks. I'm just going to leave it for 24 hours and see if there is an auto re-set. Does any of that make sense?
